The American Political System; POSC 100
For my Human Behavior and Social Institutions, I took The American Political System (POSC 100) with Dr. Eric Hodges. I took this class over the Winter of 2019-2020. The class content was taught by reading book chapters and taking quizzes after completing them and a final exam. There were 14 chapters and 14 quizzes. The class took me three days to complete.
I learned a lot about the American government and how they apply political theory into action and practical real-world examples. With each definition of a political maneuver, there was an example from a real world situation that occurred in the U.S, which I found incredibly helpful when determining the importance of the maneuver and how it would be applied to situations. For the final exam, we were required to write several essays on what we learned and apply them to the prompts we were given. This class was fun for me to complete and I believe I learned a lot about the political system.
