This course was a general education requirement as well as a nursing requirement.  I’m glad this class was required since it taught me how to teach myself discipline for studying and learning.  I loved my professor and he was a great teacher, however, math is something that one must practice outside of the classroom in order to really learn.  This course was the first class I had ever taken that required me to make my quizzes and practice sheets so that I was able to fully understand the material taught in class.  If I had no learned this skill, the class would’ve not gone as well as it did.  Unfortunately, this class did not have any major assignments, papers, or projects for me to attach to my portfolio.  We only had three tests and a final exam throughout the course which strengthens my point about my being forced to practice and learn on my own after the basics were taught in class.
