Hello everyone! My name is Searra Richardson and I am a nursing major at Longwood University.  I am a freshman and plan to graduate in  the spring of 2021 with my bachelor’s of science in nursing.  Once I graduate and get a few years of  experience as a nurse, I plan to go continue my education and become a women’s health nurse practitioner.  Being a nurse has been my dream since I was little.  There is something about caring and protecting other people that has always lit a fire inside my heart.  Obtaining my degree here at Longwood and within the honors college will not only prepare me for my career, it will prepare me to excel as an individual regardless of the circumstances and reach my full potential.
