Freshman Seminar, or LSEM, is a required class for all Longwood freshman.  An overview on my LSEM course can be found under the “General Education” tab.  The honors part of the course in particular is what solidified my bond with Longwood University.  I was surrounded by not only other honors members, but also people within my major.  Having so much in common with my classmates and being able to easily bond with them helped make me feel at home early in the semester.  It made me realize that I was right where I was supposed to be.

In this class, we had to submit journal entries every week.  My last journal was about how Longwood University positively and negatively impacts Farmville and how I will enhance the positive impact.
