At Longwood, service is demonstrated throughout the entire campus and beyond.  Many clubs, organizations, and classes participate in numerous volunteer activities and events around campus, Farmville and even beyond.  Longwood and its students are dedicated to helping the community is any way possible.  For me personally, I have helped with relay for life, Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer walks, SPCA events and more.  Giving back to the community that surrounds Longwood is such a fun experience.  Getting to meet residents of Farmville and seeing how happy they are that we are here to help them puts a smile on my face every time.
