Scholarship

Of course, everyone coming to college is focused on grades and graduating, but at Longwood I feel like it is more than that especially in the honors college.  Honors classes go more in depth giving students a better understanding of the material that goes above and beyond regular classrooms.  It is not harder, just different so that students gave leave Longwood with not just a degree and good grades, but with an honest understanding of the world and all it has to offer.  Longwood as a whole also provides this.  The close-knit community, amazing professors, small class sizes and much more provide a engaging environment where students can stray from the required material just for the grade and really expand their knowledge to be used for the rest of their lives.
