For this goal I chose to take Foundations of Western Civilization. In this class we never actually wrote papers or did presentations, we simply listened to lectures and had class discussions. Even though many people found that to be weird, I really enjoyed it. My professor understood that the degree to which you understood something could not be demonstrated through only a paper or presentation. I ended up learning so much I didn’t already know about the foundation of our civilization, and I would recommend the class to anyone.
