In order to fulfill my goal 6 requirement, I chose to take biology. Through my biology course I was challenged to take my first large lecture course in college. I went to a small high school and was used to knowing everyone in my class. Through office hours and our smaller lab groups, I was still able to interact with my professor and meet some people in class. We did form a study group that met and studied for the final.

As part of the class, we were required to write monthly critiques on various topics. Below is one of my critiques on an article on treating pancreatic cancer laparoscopically.
