This course was very insightful. I learned all about how to adapt my classroom for children with different needs, but I learned something even more important. I was able to take a step back and realize how lucky I am and how I have a very privileged life. I also learned that every child is on their own timeline and path, and as teachers, we are there to help them along the way. There is a spectrum to everything and it is our job to figure out how we can best aid them on their journeys.
