I was very excited for this class because I really wanted to learn about different disabilities and how we as educators can aid those in our classroom who have them. The class went a little differently than I thought it would, but we made the class a split section, so I was able to collaborate with a group to complete our project. We did a poster presentation about the program called recall reading which would be beneficial to students with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). We learned a lot of really interesting information and I always love to do the presentations because we get to look and feel like professionals! The information I learned in this class about the ADA and other laws and services for those who have disabilities will be information I take with me in my career!
