Math! The very sound of the word makes me shudder! Especially when I heard the words that followed: economics and personal finance. These are the things of my nightmares. I thought by going into a field where I can teach people who are half my height, I would be able to avoid doing anything with math, with the exception of counting coins. This class was difficult and hard to bare for an entire semester. But, I did it. I pushed through, met some great people who were in agony alongside me, and together, we conquered our fears! I learned in this class that surrounding yourself with the right people who will support you through your struggles is the best way to make it out of a bad situation!
