When I was in high school, I knew that there were certain topics that were important, but I never thought that I had an important opinion that needed to be heard. Taking Citizenship 110 allowed me to change my mind on that matter. My class was all about women and Americans and how their bodies relate to their citizenship here throughout history. I saw myself bloom in this class and become a confident young women with educated opinions that people actually listen to! I am excited to see where this new empowerment takes me through life and allows me to share my important opinions out in the world.
