I knew I had to take this class because it was a requirement for getting into the teacher preparation program, but I did not know how valuable it would be to me after taking it. Yes, I learned about child development, but more importantly, I learned that teaching is absolutely what I am meant to do with my life. I was inspired with real life examples every day and left the classroom reassured every time that I am on the right path in my life. I want to teach so that I can make a difference in just one child’s life. They go through more than people know and I want to give them a safe area where they can learn and have fun, and this class opened my eyes to that!
