8am with Dr. Milne!! I am by no means a morning person so this was definitely going to be a challenge for me! But, I love Dr. Milne, so he kept it super interesting, even at 8am! I am fascinated by psychology so I knew that sociology would be interesting for me too. We did a lot of looking into how the school systems work and why they are set up the way that they are, which was a really interesting perspective to see from. I have never really gotten to look at things from an administrative level or a governmental level before about schools, so it was nice to have a better understanding of how some things work. We also learned a bit about school shootings. Although devastating, it is important to learn about this stuff as a future educator. The final project was creating my own school!! It was awesome!!!!
