Social Research and Program Evaluation
This class was definitely different than other classes I had taken at Longwood. The thing that made it different was the professor, Dr. Burger. Dr. Burger does not rely on a PowerPoint to give his lessons. I honestly prefer to have a PowerPoint to look at because I am a very visual learner. However, Dr. Burger was very willing to repeat things and go through more examples on the board if asked. This helped me more easily learn the material. I am not a big Sociology fan so this class was difficult for me from the start. What was nice is that a lot of the material, I had already learned in previous classes. There was new material that was taught to me, but luckily I was able to pick up on it very easily.
