2018-2019:
This year, I engaged in the community by running a fundraiser for The Trevor Project, an LGBTQ+ suicide hotline, through my LGBTQ+ and the media class. We sold raffle tickets and partnered with fellow honors student, Emma Mancini, to raise over $150. Through my sorority, I also worked with residents of Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and did highway cleanup work. Through UIFI, I also worked with Hoosier for Hoosier, a landfill diversion non-profit that resells things college students leave behind and donates all profits to charity.
