2018-2019:
This year, I engaged in the community by running a fundraiser for The Trevor Project, an LGBTQ+ suicide hotline, through my LGBTQ+ and the media class. We sold raffle tickets and partnered with fellow honors student, Emma Mancini, to raise over $150. In the fall semester, I acted as the co-social chair of The Honors Student Association and planned activities such as taco night and paint night in order to strengthen the honors community. I have also been lucky enough to meet some of my closest friends through the honors community.
