To fulfill this requirement I took SPAN 210- Beginning Integrated Language in Culture. In this course we continued to add on to the knowledge that I had learned in Spanish 110. This course placed a great emphasis on learning the preterite and imperfect tenses and learning the cultures of Spanish speaking countries. Though listening to music, playing games, and having class discussions we were emerged in Spanish culture and language.
The article below was a presentation done on Mexico and a holiday associated with the country. We have to dive into the culture and also use comparison and preterite and imprefect skills to create a story associated with the holiday.
