Conclusion

This Portfolio encompasses all of the major projects that I completed during the course of the semester. The Correspondence and the Press Release are two assignment that I am sure will help me offer invaluable services to many companies. I wrote some of the documents on my own while others, like the formal report and the Brochure, I finished with a partner. The Bad News letter and the Persuasive Letter are documents that I am proud of. I learned many things during this class and I really hope to take these skills into a career in technical writing since it is something that I am passionate about as of late. I feel as though I can take some specific skills into the work place and I feel as thought I have a step above the competition because of these skills. Block letter formatting is something that I can use in my professional career for sure. I am excited  to write letters for companies in the future, should the opportunity arise. In the future I really want to work as a technical writer for companies like Ranstad in Christiansburg, Virginia or possibly write articles for my hometown’s newspaper. I can say for certain that I shall leave this class with a much greater knowledge on the workings of the professional world and for that I am grateful.
