Hello! My name is Abagail Pack. I will be graduating from Longwood University in December of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Neuroscience. During my time here at Longwood University, I have participated in many course that have challenged me to develop essential skills for my future academic journey and career. Some noteworthy classes have been Evolution, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Biology of Cancer, as well as my internship at Helping Hands Inc in Stafford, Virginia. My internship allowed me to not only gain experience in a professional setting, but also taught me specific details about my future career in Occupational Therapy. I have also been a part of the LIFE STEM Program here at Longwood that allowed me to extend my knowledge of research skills and create connections with my professors through mentorships with them. Through these experiences, I have studied many different biological concepts and acquired numerous professional skills along the way that will aide me in my future endeavors in academia and beyond.
