About Me
I’m a current Junior at Longwood University with aspirations of becoming an elementary and middle school teacher. I’m curious about how technology can help enhance the classroom and push students towards being the best that they can be. My professional aspirations are to work in an area of need and help shape the school system in that particular area. My scholary identity consists of advocating for the use of technology at a young age and using the technology to keep students motivated to learn throughout their education career. I see the theme of this course intersecting with my academic and professional self because I’m a strong advocate for technology, but I understand how social media can ultimately destroy someone’s career if poor decisions are made. The blog goals are to showcase all of the postive and negative scenarios of social media and having an online life.
