Note: p<.05*, p<.01**, p<.001*** The dependent variable for the table regarding Chi-squared was the engagement of the child. This was asked on a 0-10 scale. The independent variable for this table regarding Chi-squared was the household income. Respondents chose between seven different options that included “less than $10,000”, “$10,000 – $30,999”, “$31,000 – $50,999”, “$51,000 – $70,999”, “$91,000 or more”, and “prefer not to answer”. The mean engagement for around 61% compared to the high income engagements of 38%. According to our Chi-squared results (0.11) we found that the difference between the means was not significant. Therefore, child engagement does not have an influence on household income
