The Longwood Seminar class (aka LSEM) is a requirement for all first year students. The class is intended to smooth the transition into college life. During the course of my LSEM class I learned about the Longwood campus, time management, wellness and health, community service, and other helpful topics. The most useful part of the course, in my opinion, was the assignment where each student created a four year plan. It put the next four years into perspective and made me feel in control over my education.
