This class was very easy and I did not get much out of it. I took physics in my junior year of high school and we covered more than this class did. This class did teach me not to underestimate any class however. For my first exam, I studied just three hours before class, while I did not get a bad grade, I got lucky. I could just have easily have failed that first exam if my guess about electrical systems was not right. I got away with an 85, but the threat of failing sobered me up and I was able to work back up to an A.
Overall I would only recommend this class as an easy A for science students. Non-STEM majors might be able to learn a good deal about physics from this class though.
I do not have an artifact for this class. The assignments were done by my lab partner and I did not copy any of them. My favorite memory of the class was when we shot rockets using air pumps and measured how far they got with a walking wheel. By knowing the distance traveled and the angle of propulsion, we were able to calculate the time the rocket spent in the air and its initial velocity. I might try to later take a picture of the materials for this lab next year on post it as my artifact.
