Introduction to Ethics

While this course was interesting and rather eye-opening regarding how we should think and respond to a situation, much of it was also confusing. Dr. Lukas constantly challenged us and our understanding of the world through many theories and philosophies. I found it interesting, but mostly confusing, to debate the morality of certain situations through these theories, and realizing along the way that the understanding of right versus wrong is rather subjective, such as the legality of situations, or whether something is socially acceptable or not, like the last week of class we debated as groups the viewpoints of drug use according to some of the systems and topics we studied.
