My name is Megan Seranni, I started college not knowing what I wanted to do or what path I would take. I have always had a passion to help people but never knew how I would translate my passion into a major or career. I started out as a Business Administration major when I first came to Longwood. I found myself not enjoying my classes. I started to explore other major and stumbled across Communication Studies as a possible major. I saw that with this major I could have a career in human resources. I further researched HR as a potential career path and realized that many of the skills I have gained through being a resident assistant are transferrable to the HR world. My goal is to get an internship so that I can get a feel for what HR is like and, hopefully, make a career out of it.
