This past summer, June 2022, I participated in the Longwood @ Alaska Brock Experience. With a Brock Experience, students participate in a course that focuses on issues in a particular area in the United States and visit that area to research the issue firsthand and participate in fieldwork. In the Longwood @ Alaska course, we focused on stewardship in Alaska, the oil pipeline, and several other issues. In June we got to fly out to Alaska and for nine days we explored and studied Alaska and all it had to offer.
