Moby Dick Scratchboard-Final

It was a different process working with the scratchboard. I am so used to drawing with pencil and being able to erase any mistakes made. With¬†scratchboard, that’s not possible; the artist must be committed to every scratch made on the board. I also enjoyed using white on a dark surface as opposed to making dark marks on white paper. It was a nice change and made me pay much more attention to detail in the drawing, as it is a drawing method that I don’t do often.
