Community is an incredibly important aspect to the Honors College at Longwood University. To me, community means creating a system in which everyone within the Honors College has people that they can connect with and go to when or if they need it. The people that I was able to meet through the Honors College are some of the kindest and most helpful people I could have been around. Some of my best friends so far are a part of this community, and it is wonderful to have a support system built in to my classes and community.

I think that the Honors College does a wonderful job of encouraging those who are a part of it to branch out and connect with each other. From our first day on campus, we were all made into one big family, and that is an incredible feeling to have!
