Scholarship

Scholarship within the Honors College means to go above and beyond regarding the academics of school. In order to be a part of Honors, one must maintain a Grade Point Average of at least a 3.25, so of course good grades are an important aspect to scholarship. However, this is not all that matters. To me, scholarship means to put hard work and passion into everything that one does. In every class, I do my best to produce the absolute best work that I can provide, no matter the subject. Yes, I am a Theatre major, but that does not mean that I will slack off on my science or English work just because it does not pertain to my subject of interest! Honors students put forth their best effort in each class and for each paper, project, presentation, or research that they do.
