Math 171 was a course based on the beginning to statistics. During my senior year of high school I took an AP statistics class but when it came time to take the exam I kind of choked and did not do as well as I thought I should have. Coming into this course I was worried I would struggle but in the beginning when we were still in person I was excelling at the content. When we moved to online learning I had to adjust the way I was trying to learn math which was very hard. I definitely struggled with this course but my professor helped me out in the end and I was able to complete the course filling my pillar requirement as well as a requirement for my Nursing Major tract.
For my artifact for this course I decided to attach the second half of a project we completed in comparing the height and stance on national health insurance between Sophomore and Junior statistic students at Longwood University. I struggled with this project in some aspects because you had to combine both your mathematical knowledge as well as a little bit of english working to help you get your point across to your readers.
