FIRST YEAR FOUNDATIONS COURSE

Inquiry into Citizenship – CTZN 110

This class was one of my first steps towards not only becoming a college student but to developing me as a well-rounded student. Dr. Blincoe used the openness of this class to discuss a topic that was very close to his heart: philosophy. We were able to open the subject to better help us understand the inner workings of society around us and challenged us to become stronger, wiser, and more moral students than we were when we first started the course.

Below is a screenshot of an assignment we had to do where we took an argument and had to represent both sides in order to not only make our own understanding of the topic better but to explore the other side of every argument to make ourselves a bit more aware of those attached to the conversation.
