Service has always been a fairly key part of my life. Whether it be as simple as holding the door for people, or working hours on a farm where people have less hands than needed, helping people has always been something that I strive to do on a daily basis. Years ago I asked myself what truly drives people forward, and for me it has always been making people smile. Knowing how harsh our world is, especially now, it is always important to remember to wear our brightest smiles in everything we do. Service for some can be just another check in the box, but the feeling I get when I help people, and the idea that what I am doing makes a difference to them, as all I need to truly strive to help those around me, not matter what the topic of service is.
