Katlin Kitchen

IMG_2996-editB&WKatlin Kitchen is an aspiring short story author and novelist. Since she began writing during middle school, Katlin found her creativity flows best when writing fiction, especially of the fantasy-romance variety. When she’s not creating her own fantastical world, she’s usually lost in someone else’s through books and movies alike.

Eric Alexander Cline

 

alexprofileEric Alexander Cline is an undergraduate at Longwood University where he is pursuing a psychology degree with a minor in creative writing. His writing, primarily poetry, has appeared in Enigma, The Rotunda, and a funeral pamphlet. When he is not furthering his poetic craft he is conducting psychological research.

Today he reads his poem, “In Which I Do Not Mourn Osiris.”

Noelle Thorsen

ProfilePicNoelle Thorsen is a senior English major with a concentration in Creative Writing at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. She enjoys writing short stories for children and young adults. Her biggest inspirations in the literary world are Roald Dahl and Louis Sachar, whose stories have resonated with her since childhood.

Samantha Gray

SamanthaGrayProfileSamantha Gray will complete a BA in English with a Creative Writing minor from Longwood University in 2015.  She contributed to editing the AHS literary magazine The Lantern from 2006-2008 as well as the winning submission of the 2014 Liam Rector First Book Prize for Poetry.

senior7As a senior Creative Writing minor at Longwood University, Hannah Meadors seeks to find answers to life’s toughest questions. She is a nonfiction writer influenced by real world events. The ultimate goal of her writing is to reach other young adults who may be struggling with similar tough situations.

Andrew Scoles

Andrew Scoles is a Longwood University English Major concentrating in Creative Writing and minoring in Children’s Literature. An aspiring novelist, he writes mainly literary and speculative fiction, along with some nonfiction, writes a blog (andyscoles.wordpress.com), and works as an intern contributor for Geek Insider online magazine.

Marie Lupia

Marie Lupia has a BFA in technical theatre and a minor in creative writing from Longwood University. Her play Sentiment has been produced by The Flying Muskrat Theatre Company and her poetry has been performed at Longwood University. She currently works as a stitcher for Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre.
