I chose Children’s Literature as my minor, because as a child I loved to read. I knew that I wanted to do something with books. After my first children’s literature class, I knew that I wanted to minor in it. I love being able to read the books and analyze them. These classes have helped me figure out how to read a children’s literature book and understand the different concepts hiding in the writing.
