This course was a continuation of American Sign Language 110. This was my favorite course in Fall 2020. Although being virtual made it difficult to see what everyone was signing, I was so happy to have the same classmates as my previous ASL class. We all formed a bond and worked together to practice signing in the easiest ways possible.
The design of this class was much like ASL 110. We had scripts to memorize and perform for the class. In addition, we watched movies about deaf culture. I have so much respect for the deaf community and I hope to continue to be an advocate for these individuals in the future.

This is a movie poster for one of the movies that we watched. I highly recommend it. It was very emotional, but it gives you a glimpse of how the hearing and deaf communities can collide and/or interfere with each other.
