Letter To My Senior Self

Dear senior Josie,

Hello!  I hope you are doing well and most importantly, happy 🙂  You have probably just finished the craziest and most exciting four years of your life, I am so proud of you!  As of now, I just completed my first year of college and life has been pretty crazy.  We ended school and our lacrosse season very early (end of March) due to the COVID-19 (corona) Virus, so the rest of the spring semester was online.  Everything happened quickly and strangely, I thought.  Some other historically significant events took place as well, like the riots going on for the black lives matter movement… it’s been insane.  I have been working at Dominos as a delivery driver quite a lot lately.  It’s nice and is a great job, but takes up the majority of my time (the pay is great though so it’s worth it).  Mom just moved into her apartment today, with the protesting going on, so I hope she stays safe and I am curious to see how my family’s lives change due to her being out of the house.  Anyways, that was just a little update on me right now.

At this point in my life I am not sure what I am going to do with my future… so hopefully you have a better idea haha!  I just declared my major as kineseology, we’ll see where that takes me.  I hope you have gained wonderful friendships and priceless memories and just live life without thinking too much about it sometimes- what’s the point otherwise?

Congrats on graduating, my dearest darling <3

With love,

Freshman Josie
