Hello! My name is Josephine Laube, though most people call me by my nickname, Josie. I am on track to graduate in the spring of 2023 and I come all the way from Minnesota. I attended Longwood undecided on a major to peruse, but I have just recently decided that Kinesiology would be a good fit for me. I am fascinated by the body and how it works and how it is operated, so I think that Kinesiology would be a great major to continue studying and creating a future with.
Along with being a full time student, I am part of the Cormier Honors College, NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committees (SAACs), and I participate on Longwood’s Varsity Lacrosse team.
Longwood’s atmosphere, aesthetic, and campus is like no other. I have only been a student here for one year, but I am already proud to call it my home. The people that surround Longwood are the most caring and truly focus on us as a individual people, rather than just another student. The staff, students, and professors always want the best for everyone and always have each other in mind. I would have never believed how “at home” I feel on this campus, though I am a twenty hour drive from where I lived my whole life.
