Community

The community pillar is very important to me.  It stands for togetherness, family, friends, neighbors, friendly strangers, and coming in conjunction to work for a common goal.  The community that Longwood cherishes is the reason that I will happily stay here all four years.  Every person that I have came across on campus has greeted me with a joyful smile and open arms.  The students and professors are always there to lend a helping hand and will go to the end of the world to make sure everyone is happy.  Even the staff, such as the cleaning crew and cafeteria workers, always make an effort to smile and wish me a nice day.  I know some of them by name and get to know them, as they are such friendly people who mean the best.
