One way I have engaged with the scholarship pillar of the honors college is through honors courses. Through my honors courses I am able to dive deeper into concepts, and be challenged by professors in nontraditional ways. I am extremely thankful to have had the opportunity to be challenged to think in these ways.
Another way I have interacted with this pillar is through the research showcase. For SPAN 352 this spring semester, I produced research on obstetric violence in Argentina and the United States. Although we unfortunately had to present our findings online, it was empowering work.
