Becoming a physical therapist is similar to athletic training. Your bachelor’s degree must be in a field that is heavy in the science and anatomy classes. The program will also involved hands on clinicals and lots of experience. While obtaining the degree, it is important to volunteer and get those hours.

The last step is to attend a Master’s or Doctorate’s program. Unlike athletic training, this is required to become a fully licensed physical therapist. After completion of thus degree, you must pass your state’s exam and fulfill any additional license requirements in order to practice.
