This course completes Goal 1 of my General Education courses and was a good start to my nursing education. In the course we focus on how to adjust to university life and how to prepare for upcoming challenges for college and nursing school.

Artifact Description:
This essay is a significant milestone for my academic journey at Longwood University. This paper was specifically created for the LSEM 100 classes. ‘New Lancer Days’ allowed me to analyze and reconsider all of the pertinent information that was given to the first year students during the New Lancer Days program and apply it to my future as a Longwood student. This essay allowed me to have a jumping off point and challenge myself. It is evident that this is not my best work, but it is more diverse when it comes to essay structure. I will be able to use this piece as reference material for the rest of my time at Longwood.
