This project was also beneficial towards understanding the need for activism in communities (whether it be through donations or volunteering). Designing the website made me think about my target audience, and how I tailored the website was directly affected by this idea. My previous experience with volunteering also helped when designing the web page, as it gave me better understanding of the intricacies involved in the process.
