My name is Katherine Taggart, and I am a sophomore in the Cormier Honors College at Longwood University. I am an Art Education major seeking certification to teach in kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduating, I hope to study towards a Master’s degree. I want to become an art teacher because art is my passion, and I want to share it with the students that I teach. I hope to instill in my future students the same love of art that inspired me to pursue teaching art as a career.
