Global Citizenship was a perspective that I was very excited about taking. I love this field of study, and think finding issues and solutions within countries is very interesting and important if that country is to thrive. For this perspective, I took an honors special topic course entitled “Media and Democracy,” and it was very informative. This course is all about how government structure and media effect the U.S. democratic system.
Attached is my final paper for the course, written about a topic that I found myself consistently revisiting throughout the course. The difference between policy and politics is very important, and it is something I am very passionate about teaching others about.
