September 18th: “45365” — General Education Film Series

The General Education Film Series kicks off this Wednesday, September 18 at 7:00 in the LCVA (and as always is free).  The first of three documentaries this fall is 45365, an extended look at Sidney, Ohio–a quintessential small town in the Midwest.  The film will be introduced by Dr. Lee Bidwell, professor of sociology.  The film series is co-sponsored by General Education and the LCVA.

You can find the trailer for this and all our films at the GEFS blog:http://blogs.longwood.edu/gefs/.

After this film is shown, it will be made available in Greenwood Library for use in interested classrooms.  In addition, all previous GEFS films are available in the library.
