For this goal I did the Appreciation of Music. This was one of the first honors classes I took. We got to sit around and talk about classical music for 50 minutes three days a week. Since it was an honors class and the class size was smaller we were able to go on two field trips. One to the Carmina Burana and one to Sweeney Todd, both put on in Richmond. Our assignment for the final project was to take concepts we had learned in the class and apply them in a way to use them in our major. So, I created a children’s book of a kid asking his grandpa a bunch of questions about instruments and music he found in his grandpa’s attic. Unfortunately, my professor kept my book so I do not have a picture.
