I took introduction to ethics to fulfill this goal.  It was the first upper level class I took.  In the beginning the class was very confusing because there were a lot of “if, then” statements and determining validity.  One thing I love about Longwood is the professors really want students to succeed.  My professor would explain the topic over and over again until everyone understood.  Taking this class gave me a new way of thinking because we talked about how things are subjective and how some things can mean more to one person than someone else (relativism).
