Learning has always been important to me.  Being in honors I am required to keep a 3.25 GPA.  This has motivated me to stay on top of my studies and to actually go to class on days that I really just don’t feel like it.  We are in school for one major purpose, to get a degree while learning and growing along the way.  Longwood has so many great resources for students to use to help them in their studies, such as the writing center in the library.  Professors really want you to succeed.  They have an open-door policy to answer questions or to just sit and chat.  It is one of the many reasons I love Longwood.
