Hi! My name is Emily Hahn.  I am a senior Liberal Studies major with a concentration in Elementary Education.  This summer, I will be starting classes at Dallas Baptist University to earn my master’s degree in Children’s Ministry.  As a child, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher.  It was my dream for years.  Then, in high school, I had the opportunity to be the Children’s Ministry Intern at my church.  While I enjoyed it, I wanted to be a teacher whenever I graduated.  I returned to the internship throughout high school and college.  I contemplated teaching and going into children’s ministry the entire time I was in college.  The summer before my senior year, I volunteered at the training center of the International Mission Board and interned at church.  Then, I decided I wanted to go into ministry full-time.
